After sweeping the MTV Awards Sunday night, Twilight duo Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted dining alone with each other at Cecconi's, the newest Hollywood restaurant hot spot! So is there a romance budding between the on-screen lovers?

Kristen's boyfriend Michael Arangano was nowhere to be seen as the couple left fans waiting out front, and slipped out the back door right before 11 pm. So how important are the New Moon stars? It seems like they're almost at Britney status - they had a police escort as they left the restaurant!

Our spies tell us Kristen and Rob retired to their West Hollywood hotel and no one has seen them since. We know we'd like to see Bella and Edward as a couple in real life, wouldn't you?
